Implementing a structured program for learning spelling patterns using a phonics based approach and integrated grammar points to help students with the mechanics of writing accurately
Writing
Promoting imagination and creativity to help students write vividly and with flair in a range of styles including stories, poems, diaries, letters, news articles, and non-fiction projects
Reading and Vocabulary
Using proven strategies for learning vocabulary and comprehension, to improve students' understanding and enjoyment of a wide range of texts
Literature appreciation
Guiding students' enjoyment and understanding of the components of stories and poetry, and exploring the ideas and concepts they present
Interview and Examination Preparation
Supporting students to express themselves confidently so that they can shine in their secondary school interviews, and guiding them to success in their 11+ English examinations
